Hostal la Fontana, Madrid, 25-26 June 2004
   Hostal la Fontana occupies the first floor of a building on a side street from Gran Via, Madrid's main commercial thoroughfare. Tread through unfinished renovation work, and climb up a long flight of stairs to reach the hostel's entrance. The small single room is one of several cramped haphazardly together, connected by labyrinthine corridors. At least, my room has a window. The view is however nothing to get excited about.  |
